Nurses

The Practice employs 3 highly qualified and experienced nurses:

Sister Ann Lloyd-Biston SRN, SCM
Sister Diane Davies SRN, SCM

Sister Lisa Arnold RGN (Advanced Nurse Practitioner)

Lisa has recently qualified as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.  Lisa is able to diagnose, treat, prescribe and refer patients to secondary care.  We are now offering patients appointments with our Nurse Practitioner in our new Minor Illness Clinic.  These appointments will run alongside the GP's morning walk-in surgery.  For further details ask at Reception.

Between them the nurses have completed many additional professional courses, for example cervical screening, the Asthma Diploma, COPD diploma and the Diabetic Diploma. They work very closely with the doctors and are trained to do an extensive range of procedures and tests.

You may see a nurse for such services as removal of stitches, cervical smears, wound dressing, ear syringing, injections, flu immunisations and foreign travel vaccinations.

Health Care Support Worker (HCSW)

Victoria Morgan -  Victoria is able carry out a number of clinical duties within the Nurses treatment room. This will include blood pressure checks, ECG’s, ear irrigation, BMI, lifestyle advice and more.  Please check when you are booking an appointment that you are seeing an appropriate clinician.
