Speak to a Doctor or Nurse

During core hours (8 am - 6.30 pm weekdays) you can contact a doctor or nurse at any time by telephoning 01792 653941.

Urgent

If you need to speak to a doctor as a matter of urgency please make the appropriate selection on your keypad when you call. A receptionist will answer your call and will ask for your full name, address, telephone number and date of birth. They will also ask for details of the problem to help the doctor in prioritising the call. You will then be put through to the doctor or the doctor will call you back.

Routine

For matters of a routine nature you can speak to a doctor or the nurse. However, the doctors and nurses only have a limited number of slots for routine enquiries and you may be asked to call back on another occasion. The receptionist will take your details and basic information on the problem and then you will be put on a call back list. As the doctor or nurse cannot guarantee when they will call back please ensure that you are available on the number given throughout the day. Also ensure that your telephone service accepts calls from withheld numbers.
